Happy first day of school! I was so excited for my new students this morning and for a new year! We had a great day getting to know one another and getting back into our daily routine. We started off our day with our very first morning meeting. Students learned each other's names and everyone shared one thing they wanted their peers to know about them.
As a whole class, we created our own rules and expectations. Every student wrote down one rule or expectation they thought was important to have for a successful school year! These rules and expectations will be signed by students and hung up in our classroom so we can refer back to them all year! I look forward to another great day tomorrow and can't wait to get to know my students even more!
